Shelby Wilson (junior at Central High School) volunteers her time with The Lizards

Shelby has been waking up early and arriving at Fulbright to share her time with The Lizards before the bell rings at Central. She has played games with the kids, worked on literacy skills, and read with them. The Lizards love the extra attention and we appreciate her volunteer efforts!

Ms. Yolanda stopped by yesterday afternoon and read, Giraffes Can't Dance! to the class. They did a fabulous job of listening. We always love when visitors read to us!

Jack Fowler (Amelia's Father) Reads to Us

The Lizards were excited to welcome Jack Fowler (aka - Amelia's dad) to our classroom today to read two books to us. Amelia picked two princess stories - The Little Mermaid and Snow White. The kids had a blast listening to him. If you'd like to take a moment out of your busy schedule to stop by and raad to us, we love for you to visit.

"T" is for Teddy Bear Day

We kicked off the letter "T" with fun teddy bear treats and ended the week with another round of special treats and a nap with our teddy bears we brought from home. Also, The Lizards came up with 32 "t words" for our T Chart this week.
