Happy Birthday, Ms. Izard!

A big "Thank You" to all the moms, dads, and kiddos that helped make my day so special today. I can't thank you all enough for the kind cards and gifts I received the last few mornings. You all are spoiling me! Thank you for remembering me on my birthday.

Grandparents' Day Date Change

Pumpkin Carving

Oh my goodness - What fun The Lizards had this morning carving not one, not two, not three, but four pumpkins with master carver, Toni Johnson (aka - Sassy, better known as Sam and Sawyer's grandmother)! She was kind to volunteer all morning to take small groups to carve pumpkins. They had such a good time scooping the pulp out and designing the faces. We are ready for Halloween!

Socktober

We have three more days to donate socks for the Socktober Drive at Fulbright! If you happen to come across a package on sale this weekend or you have some gently used ones at home you're ready to give away, we'll be happy to take them!

Math & Literacy Night at Fulbright

For those of you who were able to attend, we had a great time at Math & Literacy Night at Fulbright last evening. The kids seemed to have a fun time walking to the different pods and playing games. Chick-fil-A is always a winner for dinner!

Lights Up

We had the distinct pleasure of hosting the traveling theater group from Central Arkansas Christian (CAC) High School's Lights Up! They performed a variety of plays, poems, and songs that had the PreK students laughing and clapping along.

Mystery Instrument - Thunder Tube

After reading a fun book and singing/demonstrating "There's a Spider on your Leg/Stomach/Knee/Foot/Arm....", we discovered a new mystery instrument - the Thunder Tube!
