Walking stick

While playing outside yesterday, the Lizards found a walking stick. The walking stick ferociously tried to scamper by without being noticed, but little eyes found him and were super curious. I loved watching how they had no fear in picking him up and inspecting him (inspecting is an "I" word we've discussed the meaning of in class this week). I think we have several future entomologists in this group!

Volleyball in PE

When Coach Cameron first introduced this skill yesterday, I thought this was going to be a tough one for the Lizards to master. However. I am here to tell you that most of the kiddos learned how to successfully serve a volleyball underhanded! I was so proud of them for listening and continuing to practice without giving up after the first few tries. This is such a great group of Lizards! On a side note, my camera didn't do the kids justice for trying to catch them in motion.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Our first field trip of the year to BoBrook's Pumpkin Patch was such a great success! Students climbed on haystacks, played in corn, took a hayride, picked a pumpkin, and petted the farm animals. Everyone had a super time and the weather was perfect! Welcome fall!
