Art - Learning about rulers

Questions we answered today in art:

1) What is a ruler? 

2) What do we use it for? measuring and drawing straight lines

3) What is the proper way to use it to measure?

4) How do we hold it still to draw a straight line? 

Art - Stars

Students continued their lesson from last week by taking the triangles they created from popsicle sticks to make larger stars. Each child then picked either red, white, or blue paint to paint their stars and topped them off with a bit of glitter. We should be able to bring our stars home after they dry. 

Parachute Time

Coach Cameron utilized the parachute in PE today to work on skills such as recognizing left and right, skipping, galloping, etc....

Doughnuts with Dads

What a fabulous morning we had today spending special times with our fathers! We appreciate all the dads who came out to help us learn about the letter "D".
