Letter "A" Chart

Each Friday when we have a new letter in the alphabet, The Lizards will create a letter chart compiled of all the words they can think of that start with that letter. This week it was the letter "A". Today The Lizards worked together and came up with 14 words that start with the letter "A". Next week, we will see if we can beat that number with letter "B" words.

PE with Coach Horn - Soccer

Today The Lizards learned two new words used in the sport of soccer - dribbling and trapping. We watched and listened to Coach Horn as she modeled dribbling (with your feet) and trapping. The Lizards had such a fun time practicing these two moves. Coach Horn was super proud of us and said we did an awesome job!

A is for Arkansas

Hooray for the letter "A" and the great state of Arkansas! We kicked off the letter A week by wearing our favorite Arkansas gear today. Tomorrow, students will create a letter chart with all the words they can think of that start with the letter "A". Work with your child this evening to come up with a few "A" words they can share tomorrow for our chart.

Popsicle Fun

After the big race, students cooled off with a popsicle.

Fulbright's Fun Run

Fulbright's Fun Run was a complete success today! PreK was the first group to run at 8:15 and the weather couldn't have been any nicer. A huge "shout-out" to all the parents whose schedules allowed them to show up and support our runners. I don't have the exact amount we raised yet (it will probably be a few days before we have a final count), but The Lizards were an awesome group raising money for our school.
