FedEx Freight Visits PreK!

As part of Community Helpers Week, Mr. Izard was nice enough to bring his FedEx Freight truck to Fulbright's PreK students this morning. They learned about his job as a truck driver and how trucks move freight all over the country. Aftterwards, each child was given the opportunity to get in the driver's seat, pretend they were driving, and blow the air horn. Students left the presentation with a goody bag full of FedEx gifts.

Julia Reed (Georgia's Mom) Read

Julia Reed, Georgia's Mom, read two books to The Lizards this afternoon. We love it when parents volunteer! If you would like to read or share a special talent, please contact me.

Firefighters

The Little Rock Fire Department visited Fulbright PreK today! Students learned all about the responsiblites of a fighfighter, along with the names of the equipment and uniform parts they wear. Students should be able to tell you what a helmet, coat, tank, gloves, and mask are along with tools such as a ladder, hose, and ax.
