Handwashing

This morning we had a fun lesson on the importance of why we need to thoroughly wash our hands and how to properly wash hands. Please help your child learn the song below. If they rub their hands with soap and water while singing it, they will have washed their hands for 20 seconds (recommended time). (to the tune of Happy Birthday) Water, soap, rub, rinse, dry Wather, soap, rub, rinse, dry Water, soap, rub, rinse, dry Tell the dirty germs good-bye. In between and all around, In between and all around, In between and all around, Tell the dirty germs get out of town.

Fulbright Fun Run Kick-off!

PreK celebrated with their Fulbright Family in a pep rally to kick-off the 2022 Fulbright Fun Run. This is the largest fundraising event that our PTA holds each year. One easy step is to register your child. They will receive a small prize just for you doing that today. The PreK students had a blast with the "big kids"! Details about the Fun Run and how to register are found on Class Dojo.

Family Blocks!

The majority of Family Blocks have been submitted to our Block Center and the kids have had a chance to share them with their classmates. Students will examine their blocks and share/compare again when we have our Family Unit in October. In addition, they are welcome to look at their blocks during the day if they are feeling lonely or missing their family. Thanks to all the parents for your participation in this project.

PE with Coach Horn!

Coach Horn is our PE teacher, and we will be visiting her every Friday. Students need to wear their tennis shoes on Fridays. Today we played a game called, Gotcha! Students sat in a large circle and rolled 3 balls. Their goal was to roll it at the person in the center and get them out.
