Nurse Lezley teaches us about healthy dental habits!

Nurse Lezley visited The Lizards this morning where we learned more about healthy dental habits. Students know that is important to brush and floss your teeth twice a day, eat healthy foods, drink lots of water and milk, and visit the dentist twice a year. By following these simple rules, we'll all have a healthy smile!

Spring Book Fair

The Spring Book Fair is at Fulbright this week with lots of great books to choose! Refer to the document attached to yesterday's weekly newsletter or contact Mrs. Molsbee (Fulbright's Media Speicialist - 447-4768) with any questions.

Letter Q Chart

Students came up with a whopping 13 words that start with the letter "Q" today for our class "Q Chart". Q is not the easiest letter to find at the beginning of words, so I was proud of them that they thought of 13 words this week.

Creating art with shapes

Mrs. McClinton gave the students one Sharpie, two shapes, a gluestick, and a piece of paper. Students brainstormed ideas of animals they could possibly turn their shapes in to. I'll have say they came up with some pretty neat creations and added the best details to their artwork with their Sharpies. Below are pictures of the students sharing their artwork with the class. Students will take their artwork home on Monday in their folders.
