Fulbright Book Fair

The Lizards had the opportunity to tour the Fulbright Book Fair. Mrs. Molsbee (media center specialist) had 5th grade volunteers that helped The Lizards pick out books they might be interested in purchasing. Students will bring home a flyer with information along with the list of books their interested in buying. There is not a certain day that we go to the Book Fair. Each day this week Mrs. Dasu, Mrs. Lloyd, or I will take those who brought money to go shopping.

Our Communities (Completed)

The Lizards created some of the neatest communities using shapes, glue, and markers. Collaboration within thier small groups helped them to design some terrific places we could live, work, and play.

Building a Community

This week we started our new unit, Our Community. Students worked together in small groups using shapes to build a small community. I was very proud of their hardwork and the way they shared ideas and suggestions with each other.
