Art - Welcome Mrs. McClinton

We are VERY lucky to have Mrs. Suzanne (Cookie) McClinton join us every Thursday morning for a 30 minute art lesson. Today, she introduced herself, read a fun book, and let the kids draw whatever they wanted. In the words of Max, "I love arting!"

Learning to Wash our Hands

The Lizards participated in an extensive lesson on hand washing today. We learned the song "Water, Soap, Rub, Rinse, Dry" (to the tune of Happy Birthday), how germs can make us sick, and the different ways we can keep our hands clean (even washing under our fingernails). Afterwards, they drew a picture on the topic of handwashing. EVERYONE did a fantastic job and shared their picture with the class!

Music - Welcome Mrs. Haskett

Mrs. Elizabeth Haskett is the wonderful music teacher that will work with your child each Tuesday morning. They will learn about various musical methods, terms, and instruments. We're excited she is here with us this year!

First Day of School

The Lizards had a wonderful first day of school! Can you believe not one single tear was shed? We read books, played outside, ate lunch in our classroom and much more. Thank you for sharing your wonderful kids with Ms. Dasu and me this year! We're looking forward to a wonderful school year.
