Fulbright kicked off the American Heart Association's Challenge for Kids today. We watched a 3D movie and learned about healthy living. Students will bring information home shortly with more details about this fundraiser.

Process of painting
Mrs. Parrish taught us the correct process for using a paintbrush and watercolors today. In a three part project, students learned about Polly Paintbrush and how her "hair" has to cleaned (bristles in water) before moving to a new color so that colors are not mixed up among the palate.

PE - Balls and Scoops
What fun we had in PE today with our balls and scoops! The children continue to learn to serve by tossing the ball underhanded with the scoop and their partner catching with the scoop. Great exercise for improving our gross motor skills.

Groundhog's Day
Punxsutawney Phil will be popping out of his hole tomorrow morning in Pennsylvania, but at Fulbright The Lizards were looking for shadows today with their own groundhogs. You'll be glad to know that our groundhogs did not see their shadows so in Arkansas we should have an early spring coming! I encourage everyone to watch the news tomorrow morning and see if Phil sees his shadow.
