PE - Tossing a ball

We continued to improve our gross motor skills today by learning to toss a ball underhanded to our friend and the friend then catches the ball. Hard work when you're four years old!

Fun Run Kick-Off!

This morning we had a large school pep assembly to kick-off the annual Fulbright Fun Run! Information on the Fun Run can be found in your child's folder this afternoon. Please consider donating money. The PTA does an incredible job of raising money to help our school each year in various projects.

B is for Bread

With the help of the story, "The Little Red Hen" we learned all about how to make homemade bread this week. After studying the ingredients that the Little Red Hen used, we found a recipe and made our own homemade bread today. Unlike the Little Red Hen, my friends did help me make the bread and taste it!

Math with apples

Which apples do you like the best? Red or green? After a taste-testing apple party, students voted on their favorite apple. Red apples won 12 to 7. Later, we created a graph using our "apple votes".
