Jacob Lawrence's Inspiring Art

Ms. Langley introduced us to the timeless artwork of Jacob Lawrence. We learned that all of his pieces incorporated movement from his subjects. Then by using simple geometric shapes, we created our own Lawrence inspired artwork and shared with our classmates.

Happy Groundhog's Day

Punxsutawney Phil may have seen his shadow this morning in Pennsylvania, but none of our pop-up puppet groundhogs saw their shadows today!

Happy 100th Day of School

We had so many fun activities on the 100th Day! We counted 10 different snacks in groups of 10 and created an awesome snack (thank you, Carrie Woodward)! Using our imaginations, we turned the number 100 into a cool object and several various activities that continued with the theme.  It was a busy, but fun day!
