Carriage Rides

Little Rock Horse and Carriage Company provided us with a chilly ride this morning through Pleasant Valley Neighborhood. Joe, our horse who previously worked at DisneyWorld, was adjourned in jingle bells and a big red Santa hat. We sang a variety of carols on our ride as we waved to passerby's! We had a fabulous time!

Hunt for the Gingerbread Man

After reading the story, The Gingerbread Man, the Gingerbread Man left us clues to where he ran throughout the school. We went upstairs and downstairs in search of the elusive Gingerbread Man, but we could never quite catch him. Finally, the clues led us back to our room where he left us a snack of tiny gingerbread men.
His first clue directed us to the cafeteria

Headed to the playground

We even found a clue in Nurse Carrie's office

Back to our room where we found a treat left for us

Gingerbread Men

Today in art, Ms. Langley read the story "The Clay Boy" which is a story taken from the gingerbread series. Children were then given a ball of clay which they molded into the shape of a boy. What fun!
