Reading in Braille

This week we've been learning about our 5 senses. Today, we focused on the sense of sight. Students watched a short Sesame Street video about a boy that is visually challenged. He demonstrated how he navigates life without the sense of sight. Afterwards, The Lizards explored a real book written in Braille. They realized how difficult it would be able to read in Braille and how lucky they are to have the gift of sight.
