Irish Dance & Tom Tom Playing

Mrs. Haskett introduced us to new form of dance today and a new instrument. We learned how to do a little Irish jig with directions from our sweet music teacher. Later, we played the floor Tom. We also discovered where you strike the Tom (center or on side) that you will get higher and lower pitches. Plus, how you hold your hand as you strike can affect the sound that is produced.
