Tempo

Today in music we worked a variety of skills important for PreK students. First, we began the lesson by reading, Acoustic Rooster and his Barnyard Band. This book serves as introduction to jazz artists and jazz vocabulary. Next, students worked on recognizing tempo - fast, medium, and slow speeds with the help of a drum. Last, they danced to Bing Bag Baby and demonstrated the use of gross motor skills (acting out various animals). class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
