Happy Groundhog's Day!

Punxsutawney Phil may have seen his shadow this morning and predicted six more weeks of winter weather, but The Lizards had a great time learning all about groundhogs today. We watched a short video on the life of a groundhog, read a story called, "The Grumpy Groundhog", and created pop-up groundhogs and tested their shadows outside this afternoon. Also, the students wrote in their journals about groundhogs. It was a busy, but fun day!
