A big thank you to Libby Childers for helping to bring our book, Owen to life. Owen is a mouse who loves to take his security blanket everywhere he goes. Owen's mother and father try different methods to encourage him to give up his blanket. In the end, his mother sews his blanket into small handkerchiefs so he can take them to school, park, etc... Libby provided us with sweet Falcon colored handkerchiefs that we slept with today and are ours to keep! What a special way to end our third week at school.
