Election Day

The Lizards participated in the PreK mock election today. First, they found their name on a sign-in sheet and wrote their name. Second, they filled out the ballot circling the picture of their favorite candidate and dropped it in a sealed box. Last, they received an "I VOTED" sticker.

Lastly, we are relating the election to our own classroom. Today, we received 2 new fish for our classroom pets. We have a red fish and blue fish. Tonight, children are to think of several good girl and boy names. Tomorrow, we will brainstorm as a class and share our names. Last, we will hold "an election" for the names of our new fish.
