Artist Alma Thomas

Today The Lizards learned about a famous artist, Alma Thomas. She used small brush strokes to create her masterpieces inspired by nature. If you have a chance tonight, review your child's "Let's Find Out" with them and decide on which picture you like the best.

Happy Fat Tuesday! The Lizards celebrated the Mardi Gras Festival today with the generous gift of beads from Caleb. We learned a little about New Orleans, read the book - "The Beignet that Almost got Away", and listened to zydeco music. It was a fun-filled Fat Tuesday!
