Here Comes the Easter Bunny

Marva and Dave McAlpine (Julia's grandparents) were kind of enough to visit our class today. Mrs. McAlpine read us a story, and then we learned the Hokey Pokey Bunny from Mr. McAlpine. They even left us with a cool parting gift - bunny ears that your child will be bringing home today.

Letter S Chart and our Classroom Author!

We broke a new record today coming up with 32 words for our letter "S" Chart! Super proud of these guys! Also, we have an author and illustrator in the house. Julia wrote and illustrated her own book that she shared with the kiddos. In addition, the kids could not have been better listeners and gave Julia glowing compliments about her book. My heart is full of love for this sweet class.

Happy Birthday, Ms. Dasu!

Mrs. Dasu had so much fun celebrating her birthday this morning with her special delivery of birthday goodies from the class. She wanted to tell everyone, "Thank you for making her birthday so terrific and thank you for the gift package!"

How Does Your Salad Grow?

After reading the book, How Does Your Salad Grow? and learning about nutrious foods this week, students helped Mrs. Izard put all the ingredients together for a yummy salad.

The Lizards had a fun morning learning more about the letter "S" and modeling our silly socks on the runway.
