Leaf Jumping!

Tuesday was a perfect day for making a huge pile of leaves and jumping in them. This was the Lizard's own idea and they had so much fun enjoying the beauties of fall.

Veterans Day - Giving Back to our Community

The Lizards have been learning about Veterans Day all week and the importance veterans and active service people play in our country. Today, we focused on giving back to our veterans by making them cards that will be delivered to a local VFW. Students drew and colored pictures sending them a message of thanks and love.

Bongo Playing

Playing the bongos in music and listening for the various sounds the different size drums make.

Bouncing balls and catching with both hands

Today in PE, we worked on bouncing a ball and catching it with both hands. To make it even more difficult, Coach Griffith challenged to bounce the ball twice then catch it.

Playing the Kokiriko

Students played a Latin percussion instrument today called the, Pocket Kotkiriko. It is also known as "the snake".
