Presenting Mr. Friant with our class gift
The Lizards worked hard on a gift for Mr. Friant - a class poster. The poster consisted of a kind note we wrote him, student pictures from his various visits, and individual pictures that the children drew him. They were very proud of their poster!
Pinnacle Mountain - 4th Visit
Mr. Friant made his fourth and final visit to The Lizards today. After talking with us about the life cycle of an alligator (we measured with a rope the average lengths of alligators as they grow), we met a live alligator named, Ducky. Ducky was so friendly that the kids were able to pet it. Later, after exploring the life cycles of various animals, we met a live king snake named, Arthur. Arthur was super friendly too so The Lizards were able to feel his scales.
