Balloon Play

Today in PE, the Lizards worked on improving their gross motor skills by tossing and catching balloons. After mastering the basics, Coach Griffith challenged them to hit the balloons with their elbow, head, and knee and catch.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

We were excited to welcome Julia's grandparents (Marva and Dave McAlpine) to read and sing with the Lizards this afternoon! We couldn't have picked a more beautiful day for an outside concert. Marva read us Rudoplph the Red Nose Reindeer, and we sang along with Dave as he played the autoharp. Fun times in PreK today!

Making Gingerbread

After learning about how to make gingerbread, a short lesson on sequencing the steps, and using our nose to smell the scent of ginger, the Lizards all tried a gingerbread man. Believe it or not, ALL the Lizards loved their cookie and ate the whole thing! A big "thank you" to Laila Harris for providing us with the cookies!
