We've Got School Spirit for Red Ribbon Week!
PreK was very lucky today as the MEMS ambulance and two of their paramedics brought an ambulance to Fulbright to explore. The children asked questions, walked through the ambulance, and observed how a stretcher works. We're learning all about our community!
Today's theme for Red Ribbon Week was "My Future is Bright" - dress up as your future career. The Lizards were well represented by firemen, doctors, rock Stars, etc... it was a great way to connect with "Our Community" theme for the months, too.
We worked with real clay today. The children used their fingers to smash, roll, and build with the clay. While they were experimenting, Ms. Langley had them come up one at a time to begin work on a precious Christmas ornament.
It's Red Ribbon Week at Fulbright and today we're celebrating by saying, "Drugs are Despicable!" Dress like a minion day.
We had so much fun on our first field trip today to Wildwood Park to enjoy "Hay Days". The children got to take their first school bus ride, go on a hayride, play games, and decorate their very own pumpkin. What a beautiful day for our first field trip!
