P is for pizza and party

The kids were excited to make their own pizzas for "P Week". Plus, we are able to celebrate Mrs. Holly Lloyd's birthday with popcorn and a party! Mrs. Lloyd was surprised and touched by everyone's sentiments.

Arrrgghhh Maties! Shiver me timbers - what fun we had in PreK today. Special games, crafts, and snacks - Pirate Day was awesome! We even went on search for a pirate treasure!

Seven Blind Mice, Ed Young

Mrs. Langley shared a great little book called, The Seven Blind Mice. In the story, each mouse discovers a different characteristic about one common animal. At the end, the mice come together and share their discoveries to find the object was an elephant. Students were encouraged to make their own predictions before the end of the story was read, and draw what they thought the mice had found. Great exercise on inferring and making predictions! 

Valentine's Party 2016

Thanks to all the parents who came out today to help us with our Valentine's Party! The kids had so much fun exchanging cards and eating some scrumptious treats.
